The movement certificate EUR1 is a document, which certifies the preferential origin of the goods, issued by the EU for the countries with which it maintains a Preferential Agreement. With the EUR1 Certificate you could benefit from reduced Customs Duties.

The certificate is requested for the countries that have a Preferential Agreement with the EU and for goods originating in the EU.

You must present the movement certificate EUR1 together with DUA (Unique Administrative Document) for Exports and it has to be valid for the exporting Customs Office. Its purpose is that the goods may be considered under the Preferential Customs Tariff regime and thus benefit from a reduction of Customs Duties.
